Hi
Doll-makers. I hope you like what I have to offer in these pages as
you browse my work. My designs are a mixture of many different kinds of
cloth dolls. I don't have a particular 'style'. I
simply get to work on the doll that is in my head
demanding to be designed and made up. So, as you
browse, be prepared for a pretty eclectic bunch of
gals and guys here.
If
you are looking for dolls to make for craft markets
and fairs, you can go to town here, each one of my
patterns has the following statement:
You
may make as many as you like to sell (but no mass
production), as long as a label is firmly attached
to every doll you make with the following:
Name of doll
Designed by Stella Whittingham

There
are some new kids on the parade in
the Raggedy family.

Warning!! - Cloth doll-making can become an addiction
- but a nice one :). So, if you've never made a doll
before....beware!!
Indulge your passion for cloth dolls - or start one!
But most importantly, and the first advice I always
offer anyone starting out on this wonderful journey -
remember, she doesn't have to be perfect....nor does
she want to be. Allow her to develop as she wishes.
