My 'Lady Bear Collection' is what I work on very, very occasionally, when I want to venture into 'elegance' rather than 'country'. 
I have no particular formula when making these bears. They simply 'become' who they are as I progress. I like to use doyleys and old lace tablecloths that I find in 'op' shops, organza ribbons and beads. Whatever I can find. No two will ever be the same.
Each has a certificate of authentication and is numbered

#1 in my Lady Bears Collection Lady Elizabeth body made from plush felt fur. the skirt of her elegant dress is made from 2 old tablecloths, the top one adorned with tiny flower and leaf beads. her sleeves, neckline and hat are embellished with lace doyleys.       SOLD

#2 in my Lady Bears Collection Lady Sonya a bit different, Lady Sonya is made from calico which has been dyed and varnished to achieve a gorgeous 'old leather' look.
